Teaching 101: A workshop to help support your new role as an educator this 2020-2021 school year
With these changing times, we must adapt and take on new roles and responsibilities. Now that includes teaching and supporting our little ones academically.
Whether your school is fully or partially remote, you must learn the techniques to best support your little learner.
Join Dana, a seasoned educator with a double masters in special education and educational leadership, as she introduces the basics of teaching. You will have the opportunity to apply teaching techniques and receive guidance and coaching. Dana will also provide free resources to help you supporter your little learner and answer any questions you may have.
The following topics will be discussed & will focus on students elementary and younger:
- Setting up your child’s work station
- Multitasking (teaching multiple children at once)
- Teaching techniques
- Motivation techniques
